Yes! We are proudly licensed by the City of Alexandria and fully insured through Travelers Insurance.

 

⏳ How long has The Fairy Dog Mom been in business?

We started right here in Old Town Alexandria in 2011. Over 14 years later, we're still growing — one happy tail at a time.

We currently walk pups in 22301, 22302, 22304, 22305, and 22314 codes.

Our team is handpicked and amazing! We hire:

Military spouses

Stay-at-home parents

Retirees

Grad students
All walkers are background-checked, deeply kind, and totally dog-obsessed. I’d trust them with my own kids!
 

💸 Do you offer discounts for multiple dogs or frequent bookings?

 

There’s a small additional fee for extra dogs in a household unless a separate walk is needed.
We don’t offer bulk discounts or packages, but we aim to keep pricing clear, fair, and simple.
 

📷 How do I know my dog has been walked?

 

We use a professional app that sends you a report card after every walk — complete with:

🕒 What’s your cancellation policy?

 

We require 24 hours' notice to cancel a walk without charge.
This policy supports our walkers and helps us maintain a reliable, quality team.
 

🐕 Can I meet my dog walker beforehand?

 

Yes!

Daily clients are matched with one dedicated “Fairy,” and we’ll schedule a complimentary meet + greet before the first visit.

Occasional clients may meet with me (Katie!) for a quick intro and routine overview.
